A well-established precision engineering company, specialising in high-spec metallic components for the aerospace industry, is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing team.
With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and technical excellence, the company offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment with continued investment in advanced machining technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls)
- Producing complex components from various materials to tight tolerances
- Meeting quality and production targets
- Attending daily production (SQDCP) meetings
- Supporting continuous improvement activities, including 5S and process optimisation
- Recording and reporting any quality or production issues (NRFT)
- Tool setting and offset adjustments
- Ensuring correct documentation and materials are used
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet production schedules
- Flexibility to support operations at another nearby site if needed
37 hours per week
Mon-Thu: 07:30 - 16:00
Fri: 07:30 - 12:30
- Pay: Up to £17 per hour
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
