JOB OVERVIEW
This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering predominantly Aberdeen although our area does cover from Dundee all the way up to Inverness.
Their client base include but are not limited to Commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.
They are now recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a facilities maintenance background.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, and AHUs.
Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Conduct system inspections, pressure testing, and leak detection in accordance with F-Gas regulations.
Work on electrical systems related to HVAC units, including control panels, wiring, and fault-finding.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Provide excellent customer service while liaising with clients, site managers, and contractors.
Keep detailed service records and complete job reports promptly.
Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including being able to assist with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site.
Design & installation, after care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems carrying out the service and maintenance of a multitude of equipment ranging from commercial equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF Indoor and Outdoor Units, Heat Recovery Units, leak testing systems etc.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred)
F-Gas & ODS Regulations (C&G 2079-11) – Minimum requirement.
18th Edition – Desirable
Candidate who can assist with electrical PPM tasks including emergency lighting tests and small repairs would be desirable
Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable and additional training on this can be provided.
Knowledge of M&E building services.
Knowledge of HVAC plant i.e. A/C, boilers, controls, heating and cooling systems, ventilation.
Understanding of overall Health & Safety.

£43,000 – £45\’000 + Overtime
