Senior Executive position for South Australia covering the United Kingdom and Europe, based in London. Make a genuine contribution to South Australia’s economic growth through trade and investment facilitation across the UK and European regions.
The Regional Director, UK/Europe plays a critical role in identifying business opportunities and driving trade and investment outcomes for South Australia. The position reports to the Agent General in London, with strategic and day-to-day reporting to the Manager, International Market Development, Department for Trade and Investment South Australia.
Located within the Office of the Agent General in London, this executive role will lead a team of trade and investment specialists to promote and support South Australian businesses across the United Kingdom and Europe. Representing South Australian business interests at the highest levels will be a core responsibility.
We are looking for a driven, highly focused leader with strong, high-level business and government networks in the UK and Europe, complemented by a sophisticated understanding of South Australia’s business capability and international competitiveness.
To be successful, you need to have worked in, or have experience in South Australia’s priority industry sectors that include, but are not limited to:
- Defence and Space
- Food and agribusiness
- Wine
- Renewables, fuels and cleantech
- Health and medical industries
- Critical and emerging technologies
- Creative industries
