Office Interior Solutions specialise in office refurbishments, fit-out and office furniture. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team in the role of Working Site Foreperson.
Role: Supervising sites for small and medium sized office furniture projects, office fit-outs and refurbishment projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Working on multiple projects, you will co-ordinate subcontractors and own staff to ensure a timely completion of the programme set out for each project. You will also carry out small joinery and fit-out works, whilst checking that all works are being carried out in accordance with the drawings and specification, and monitor the quality of materials used and workmanship on each project.
Responsibilities:
- Small joinery works
- Health & Safety legislation including PPE equipment
- Supervision of sub-contractors and in-house staff
- Deliveries to site
- Liaise with the client throughout their project
- Liaise between site and the office in relation to materials and supplies
Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a site management / supervisory role is essential (on building sites / interior fit-out sites).
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills and a high attention to detail
- Must have a trade background of building / joinery / plumbing etc
