Location

This role is located at our Titchfield office and requires on-site attendance at this office location 5 days due to the nature of the role. You will need to be located near the office base: Government Buildings, Cardiff Road, Newport, South Wales, NP10 8XG.

Apprenticeship Overview

The Corporate Technical Support Engineer Apprenticeship is an opportunity for individuals interested in Technology to work toward a formal qualification alongside full time employment. The role will involve shadowing, observing, and learning various related Corporate Technical support skills whilst gaining experience for a Level 3 Apprenticeship. This is a two-year apprenticeship designed to support your professional development and help you to grow within this organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to incidents, requests and changes
  • Monitoring the configuration, availability, security, capacity and performance. Engaging in continuous improvement activities.
  • Tracking the life cycle of assets from acquisition through to disposal applying quality updates to asset records.
  • Maximising the use of tools and technologies to deliver operational excellence.
  • Engaging in wider communities of practice, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.
