Base pay range
Location : We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), London or Manchester and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.
Working Patterns : All our vacancies are offered as a flexible option of Full time, Part time, Flexible working, Job Share.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has a long history of working with personal, economic and commercial information. Security and the management of information used for corporate and statistical activities is critical to business operations and the trust that citizens place in us. ONS has a strong commitment to protecting this information.
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Risk Management, and forming part of the Advisory Security Team within the SAIM division at ONS, you will focus on developing “secure by design” protections for our assets and on embedding our Security Framework – an overarching set of commitments including principles, policies, processes, threat models and broad security risk management – into the ONS.
As a highly knowledgeable and accomplished security professional, you’ve got expert knowledge of security controls and systems across physical, procedural and technical security and you’re experienced in providing detailed security advice across these areas to UK Government Departments.
