Are you a BI Developer looking for an opportunity to design, develop, and enhance enterprise BI solutions, working with data from telephony, finance, HR, and other core systems to deliver meaningful management information? Do you thrive in a data-driven environment where you can identify opportunities to improve data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting capabilities, while supporting organisational growth and change? Do you have strong technical and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with technical specialists and business users alike, ensure data quality, and deliver accurate, trusted insights that support decision-making?

What you will be doing:

  • Maintaining and enhancing the organisations BI solutions and automated tools to deliver accurate and meaningful management information from telephony, finance, HR, and other key systems.
  • Working collaboratively with technical and data specialists, including Performance Analysts, BI Developers, CRM and SharePoint teams, to improve reporting capability across the organisation.
  • Acting as an authoritative voice in identifying opportunities to improve how data is sourced, structured, and stored within the data warehouse.
  • Designing, developing, and supporting robust processes to produce and deliver reliable, accurate, and agreed management information.
  • Gathering and assessing reporting requirements, designing solutions, documenting data models, and delivering ETL solutions using SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Enhancing and modifying existing ETL models to support changes in business processes and emerging organisational needs.
  • Maintaining and further developing the data warehouse to meet evolving management information requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to empower business users with enhanced self-service query and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensuring changes to reporting solutions are controlled and clearly documented in line with business process changes.
  • Supporting data quality across the organisation by working with users to identify, investigate, and resolve data capture issues.

About you:

  • Proven experience working as a BI Developer or in a similar data-focused role, supporting the delivery of accurate, reliable management information.
  • You have strong experience using SQL and designing, developing, and supporting ETL solutions, particularly with SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • You have hands-on experience of data warehousing, ideally using the Kimball methodology, and understand best practices for data modelling and storage.
  • You are confident identifying opportunities to improve how data is sourced, structured, and stored within a data warehouse.
  • You have experience working with data from multiple systems, such as telephony, finance, HR, case management, or CRM platforms.
  • You are comfortable gathering and analysing reporting requirements, translating business needs into well-designed technical solutions.
  • You have experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing data warehouses to support changing business and management information needs.
  • You can design and support robust routines that deliver consistent, accurate, and trusted management information.
  • You understand the importance of data quality and have experience working with users to identify, investigate, and resolve data capture issues.
