This role works closely with Property Management and Retained divisions identifying and converting new business opportunities. Within this role, you will form and execute BD strategy using industry contacts to generate leads. You will target property funds, property companies and charities identifying new business opportunities and preparing and delivering tender submissions, presentations and pitches as appropriate.

Key requirements:

  • Proven business development experience within a property business (5 + years)
  • Excellent knowledge of Chartered Surveying practices, particularly Property and Asset Management
  • Proven success pitching for new business
  • Strong communication and negotiating talents
  • Highly driven approach
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience using a CRM database

Key responsibilities:

  • Pitching and presenting business opportunities to prospective clients
  • Managing the entire sales process
  • Drafting proposals, presentations and pitch material
  • Identifying tender opportunities and preparing documentation
  • Logging sales activity
  • Providing sales support to fee earners
