An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Growing, Forward-Thinking Healthcare Business

IT Support | Systems Management | Troubleshooting | Technology | Process Improvement

Are you a proactive, technically minded IT professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and making a real difference to a business?

We are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join a growing healthcare business based in Oxted, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 3–4 years of IT support experience, ideally gained within a consultancy, start-up or fast-growing business, who enjoys a hands-on, varied environment.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day IT support, troubleshoot technical issues and help develop reliable, efficient systems as the business grows.

The Role

You’ll provide IT support across the business, ensuring employees have the technology, systems and assistance they need to work effectively. You’ll maintain IT operations, resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day IT support to employees, remotely and on-site.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
  • Setting up laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and other business applications.
  • Maintaining IT equipment, software licences and asset records.
  • Liaising with external IT providers, software suppliers and technology partners.
  • Supporting cybersecurity best practices, data protection and secure system access.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve IT processes, efficiency and automation.
  • Assisting with new systems, software and technology projects.
  • Providing clear, friendly technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Supporting IT systems within a busy healthcare environment.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for someone technically capable, personable, resourceful and comfortable taking initiative.

  • Approximately 3–4 years of IT support or similar experience.
  • Experience in an IT consultancy, start-up, SME or fast-growing business.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues.
  • Familiarity with user administration, IT security and device management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and confidence working independently.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems and technology improvements.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to get involved.

Experience in healthcare, handling sensitive information or supporting clinical systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Why Join?

  • Join a growing and ambitious healthcare business.
  • Enjoy a varied role with genuine responsibility and autonomy.
  • Work closely with management and make a direct impact on operations.
  • Help shape and improve IT systems as the company expands.
  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative and forward-thinking team.
  • Develop your technical expertise and career.

The Ideal Candidate

Someone who enjoys being the go-to person for IT, takes pride in resolving problems and is always looking for smarter ways of working. Equally comfortable helping a colleague with a laptop issue, managing systems and contributing to wider technology improvements.

If you’re an enthusiastic IT professional looking for a varied, hands-on opportunity within a growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
