An opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's most respected Private Wealth teams, working alongside recognised specialists who advise high-net-worth individuals, business owners, landed families, entrepreneurs and trustees on complex trust, tax and succession planning matters. This is a key appointment within a growing team and offers the chance to manage your own portfolio of trusts and estates while working closely with Partners and senior advisers on a wide range of technical and client-facing matters.

The role will involve:
- Managing a portfolio of trusts and estates from both an administrative and tax perspective
- Reviewing trust accounts and trust tax returns
- Calculating and advising on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax matters
- Managing trustee meetings and ongoing trust administration
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, solicitors, accountants, investment managers and HMRC
- Reviewing trust documentation and identifying planning opportunities
- Supporting wider succession planning and estate planning matters
- Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
About you:

You'll have strong experience of trust administration and trust taxation, including trust accounts, trust tax returns, and knowledge of IHT, CGT and Income Tax. STEP qualification would be advantageous, but practical trust experience is equally important and applications are welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of trust work but also wants to build long-term client relationships and play an important role within a highly respected Private Wealth practice.
