Our client, an internationally recognised security company, is looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. Job Details

  • Type of Role: Temp‑to‑Perm (initially temping for 4 weeks)

  • Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Duties

  • Assist with processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Code invoices to the correct accounts and cost centres.
  • Support the Accounts Payable function with invoice approvals and resolving supplier queries.
  • Assist with processing employee expenses.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and help investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to resolve finance‑related queries.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous finance, accounts, or administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting.
  • Candidates who have started studying AAT or another accounting qualification will be highly regarded.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
