A well-established and fast growing organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support the CFO in overseeing the financial operations across multiple entities. This is a full time office based role offering excellent exposure across a diverse portfolio of projects and companies. The successful candidate will be proactive with strong technical capability and the confidence to manage a broad workload independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily maintenance of finance systems, ensuring all processes and controls are effectively managed
  • Manage relationships and correspondence with customers and suppliers
  • Take ownership of cashflow forecasting, planning, and bank account management
  • Prepare and submit returns, ensuring accurate analysis of sales invoices
  • Review and analyse intercompany transactions
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly tax returns
  • Produce accounts through to trial balance stage
  • Support project teams by preparing monthly budgets and detailed costing analysis

About You

  • Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of financial management systems
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confident working independently while supporting senior leadership
