Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure timely delivery of external and internal financial requirements.
- Produce external data for regulatory bodies while enhancing internal controls.
- Identify and implement efficiency and automation in financial processes.
- Set up and maintain automated data processing systems.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to meet reporting needs.
- Assist with the year-end and interim audit processes.
- Independently manage VAT and Corporation Tax submissions.
- Conduct reviews of Balance Sheet accounts, providing feedback to the FP&A Manager.
- Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks as needed.
- Lead projects aimed at creating efficiencies within the finance function.
- Oversee the full intercompany process, including variance analysis and invoicing.
- Work closely with IT and finance teams to align software with business requirements.
- Conduct internal audits across departments.
- Perform variance analysis and operational decision support for ad hoc tasks.
- Foster collaboration with wider divisions to promote joint working.
- Execute various ad hoc tasks as required.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Studying or looking to study ACCA/ACA.
