Our client, a prestigious private hospital in the heart of London's West End, is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their busy team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and proactive individual with previous private healthcare experience and strong knowledge of Semble.

Location: Marylebone, West End, London

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 4-8 Weeks

Shift Patterns: 08:00-16:30 / 09:00-17:30 / 10:30-19:00, Monday to Friday (Fully Clinic Based)

The Role: As a Medical Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to consultants and patients, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Diary management for consultants
  • Preparing medical reports and correspondence
  • Updating and maintaining secretarial templates
  • Managing patient records and confidential information
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to emails
  • Booking appointments, meetings and clinic rooms
  • Photocopying, scanning and general administrative support
  • Receiving and processing deliveries
  • Collecting and archiving patient notes
  • Liaising with consultants, patients and clinical teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety procedures

Skills, Experience & Attributes Required:

  • Previous Medical Secretary experience within private healthcare
  • Essential knowledge of Semble
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional, approachable and patient-focused manner
  • Positive, proactive and helpful attitude
