Our client is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead and innovate their procurement function within the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on supply chain performance, cost control, and operational efficiency.
As the Procurement Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and policies that align with business needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and optimal service levels.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality standards and performance are met.
- Oversee inventory management, maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting service excellence.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and prepare procurement reports for senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to forecast purchasing needs and align with the Operations Plan.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
