A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Part II Architectural Assistant to join a well-established architectural practice delivering a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial, mixed-use and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across all RIBA project stages from initial concept through to completion.
- Produce high-quality design, planning and technical drawing packages.
- Assist with planning applications, building regulations submissions and tender documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
- Attend site visits, surveys and project meetings.
- Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Contribute to design development and technical detailing across a variety of project sectors.
Requirements
- Part II qualified Architectural Assistant.
- Exceptional Part I candidates with significant UK architectural experience may also be considered.
- Strong design flair and technical drawing capability.
- Working knowledge of UK planning legislation and building regulations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with SketchUp and/or MicroStation would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use or hospitality projects.
- Experience assisting with project coordination or running smaller projects.
- Based within a practical daily commuting distance of the Carshalton area.
