The client is looking to interview and start someone later this week - W/C 17th August. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Administrator to join our clients purchasing team and support the efficient sourcing and supply of equipment and materials.
The Role
As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement function by processing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring products are delivered on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier information, and pricing data.
- Monitor order progress and follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries and lead times.
- Resolve invoice and order discrepancies in conjunction with suppliers and internal departments.
- Assist with stock monitoring and inventory reporting.
- Obtain quotations and support supplier selection activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare procurement reports and management information.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies.
- Provide general administrative support to the Procurement Team.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong numerical and data-entry accuracy.
