Location: BS1, Bristol
Pay: £16.73 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary assignment until the end of March, with the possibility of extension
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available following training (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
We are recruiting for a Research & Insight Officer to join a professional team responsible for producing high-quality briefing documents and supporting inspection activity.
This role requires strong research, analytical and written communication skills. You will be responsible for reviewing information from a variety of sources, identifying key findings, and producing concise, accurate reports to support decision‑making. The position also includes supporting quality assurance activities and carrying out data validation using Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse information from websites, reports and strategic documents
- Produce clear, concise and accurate briefing papers
- Extract and summarise key information from complex sources
- Support data quality assurance and reporting activities
- Assist with Excel-based data checking and validation
Candidate Requirements
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and summarise complex information
- Confident using Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Previous experience in research, reporting, policy, administration or data-focused roles is desirable
Additional Information:
- Successful candidates will be required to undertake and pass a DBS check prior to commencement.
