Are you highly organised, confident communicating with different people and experienced working within a busy project, operational or site-led environment?

Office Angels are delighted to be partnering with a well-established national business to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their friendly and straightforward team in Durham.

This is more than a traditional administration role. You'll coordinate activity across multiple projects, acting as a key link between site teams, suppliers, management and Directors. From overseeing site holidays, wages and essential paperwork to managing purchase orders, negotiating supplier costs and keeping projects on track, you'll be someone who takes ownership and follows things through.

You'll build strong working relationships, but you'll also need the confidence to follow up when something hasn't been done, question things when they don't look right and have honest, constructive conversations when needed.

The Details & Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE
  • Location: Belmont, Durham, DH1
  • Contract: Permanent, office based
  • Start: ASAP
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:15pm | Fri 8:00am-3:30pm

Due to the location and hours, you'll need to be able to reliably travel to the Durham office

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating administration across multiple live projects
  • Overseeing site holidays, wages and essential paperwork, ensuring information is accurate and submitted on time
  • Following up with site teams when information is outstanding, incomplete or deadlines haven't been met
  • Ensuring agreed processes are followed and addressing issues appropriately
  • Building strong working relationships with site teams while ensuring commitments are followed through
  • Liaising with suppliers and hire companies, including discussing and negotiating costs
  • Raising purchase orders and coordinating deliveries
  • Supporting budget tracking, expenses and project reporting
  • Maintaining project files, HR records, databases and CRM systems
  • Supporting site onboarding and safety inductions
  • Maintaining plant, lifting equipment and servicing records
  • Supporting project planning and progress tracking
  • Working closely with management and Directors
  • Using systems including Bio-Site, M-Site and Dalux

About You

  • Confident communicating with site teams, suppliers, management and Directors
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams
  • A team player who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly

Previous experience within project coordination, project administration, construction, engineering, document control, hire, manufacturing, industrial operations or another project-led environment would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in relevant transferable experience.
