Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Payroll & Accounts Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive payroll and accounts support. The organisation prides itself on delivering outstanding service, and the ideal candidate will possess a polite and professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Mainly processing payroll on the Sage System, including changes, running reports, and addressing queries.
- Input accounting transactions, including fixed assets and credit card statements.
- Monitor cash levels, allocate cash, and produce bank reconciliations.
- Input sales invoices and reconcile intercompany balances monthly.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in a payroll related role, ideally use of Sage but not essential
- Some basic accounts experience would also be beneficial
- Strong numerical skills with a good understanding of Excel.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
