We are seeking a dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen interest in mental capacity law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and ongoing case management.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and prepare bundles for hearings.
- Liaise with clients, their families, and third-party professionals with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support with billing and administrative tasks as required.
About You
- Previous experience in Court of Protection or Private Client work is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
