Our client, a dynamic organisation in the sciences sector, is seeking an experienced Office & Facilities Manager for a 6-month temporary assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a bustling office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily management of the office environment, ensuring a welcoming and productive space for all employees.
Manage relationships with facilities suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Ensure workplace systems and processes operate efficiently, supporting overall organisational effectiveness.
Manage office budgets, supplies, and procurement, keeping operations within financial guidelines.
Support the onboarding process for new employees and facilitate effective workplace inductions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all office and facilities-related queries, addressing concerns promptly.
Lead initiatives aimed at workplace improvements and enhancing employee experience.
Coordinate meeting rooms, office events, and all operational logistics to ensure seamless execution.
About You:
Proven experience in an Office Manager, Facilities Manager, or Workplace Manager role within a similar environment.
Strong organisational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
Excellent communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities.
Confident in dealing with suppliers, contractors, and senior stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge of health & safety and workplace compliance requirements.
Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
