Are you an organised and proactive Administrator looking to develop your HR career, or an experienced HR professional seeking your next temporary opportunity? Our client, based in the Hounslow/Heathrow area, is looking for a Temporary HR Administrator to join their busy and friendly HR team on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR experience, particularly in pre-employment checks, although we are also keen to hear from strong administrators who have excellent attention to detail, enjoy working with people, and are looking to gain further exposure within Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the HR team with all aspects of administration
- Processing new starter documentation
- Conducting and coordinating pre-employment checks
- Managing right-to-work, reference and DBS checks where required
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases
- Producing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Responding to employee and manager queries
- Coordinating induction arrangements for new starters
- Assisting with HR reporting and general HR projects
- Ensuring all employee information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements
Experience Required
- Previous HR Administration experience would be highly desirable
- Experience conducting or coordinating pre-employment checks is advantageous
- Strong administrative experience gained within a busy office environment will also be considered
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
- Professional, confidential and proactive approach
