The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day finance administration, compliance, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and transactions
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor financial status and performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Manage banking activities, including international payments and direct debits
- Prepare management accounts for reporting and monitoring purposes
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and variances
- Support budget monitoring and operational financial planning
- Represent the finance function at meetings as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance financial awareness and practices across the organisation
- Actively learn from performance outcomes to drive improvement
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and annual accounts preparation
- Maintain oversight of statutory financial records and ensure adherence to financial policies
Qualifications:
- Accountancy qualified or part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a finance role with responsibility for financial reporting and control
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
