Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT licence? Looking for a stable, permanent position within a friendly and supportive team? Our client is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their growing operation in Lympne, Kent.
Location: Lympne, Kent (own transport required due to location)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.13 per hour
The Role
This is a varied warehouse role where you'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently, and operating a forklift truck as part of your daily duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a friendly team to achieve daily targets and deadlines.
- Load and unload deliveries safely while adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck to move, store, and retrieve stock.
- Conduct stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate records.
- Operate warehouse equipment and carry out manual handling tasks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes.
- Occasionally drive to other company sites to deliver goods when required.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Previous experience operating a forklift truck within a warehouse environment.
- Warehouse experience and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
