Import / Export Administrator 📍 Haywards Heath 🕒 Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm 💷 Up to £30,000 per annum The Role We are recruiting for an organised and detail-focused Import / Export Administrator to join a busy and growing business based in Haywards Heath. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration, logistics, supply chain or international shipping experience looking to develop their career within a fast-paced environment. Working closely with internal departments, suppliers, freight forwarders and customers, you will support the end-to-end import and export process, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and all documentation complies with international trade requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process import and export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping paperwork Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, couriers and external logistics providers Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders Ensure customs and shipping documentation is accurate and compliant Maintain and update records on ERP and internal systems Liaise with suppliers and overseas customers regarding orders and shipment status Resolve delivery, documentation and customs-related queries Support the wider operations and logistics team with administrative tasks and reporting About You Previous administration experience within import/export, logistics, shipping, supply chain or customer operations Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation Confident communicator, both written and verbal Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively Experience using ERP, stock management or logistics systems would be advantageous Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation or international shipping regulations would be beneficial but not essential What's on Offer Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday working hours, 9:00am - 5:00pm Free onsite parking Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities Long-term career prospects within a growing businessIf you are a highly organised administrator with experience supporting import, export or logistics operations, we'd love to hear from you.
