We are working with an AMAZING Media/Entertainment company who are seeking a new HR Manager to join their passionate and dedicated team. If you're someone who's eager, highly motivated, and shares a love for comic books, magazines, sci-fi novels, and superheroes, then this might be the PERFECT role for you!

Our client, a dynamic media business, is looking for a Group HR Manager to lead their HR function. As part of a close-knit team of 2, you'll be managing a HR Advisor and taking ownership for the full HR function. This means leading on ER case work, implementing best practises, coaching line managers, and adopting a hands-on approach in all that you do. It's an opportunity to showcase your HR expertise, solid knowledge of Employment Law, and experience in retail and/or warehouse environments. In this role, you'll have the chance to work closely with stakeholders while driving a pro-active and effective HR service to the organisation and its passionate workforce.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing the HR Advisor, ensuring effectiveness and development needs are met
  • Being a trusted business partner to owners and directors, advising on complex ER issues
  • Providing a HR 'help desk' for managers, guiding them on employee relations matters
  • Overseeing ER issues and ensuring appropriate management involvement
  • Reviewing and drafting HR policies and related documentation
  • Managing recruitment for senior-level vacancies
  • Designing and delivering management coaching and training sessions
  • Acting as the Systems Administrator for the HRIS
  • Acting as Head of H&S, maintaining compliance and standards
  • Managing company benefits
