Location: Torquay

Salary: 29,000

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 5:00pm

The Role: As a Finance Coordinator you will work in a small team and be part of a vibrant open plan office where no two days are the same. You will be expected to provide effective support to the accounts department using a wide range of business software applications. You will have contact with clients, in person and by telephone/email as well as other firms and related professional organisations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering client inquiries and managing emails professionally
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers accurately
  • Raising, sending, or discussing a client's invoice
  • Overseeing credit control processes
  • Preparation of management account report each month
  • Manage, organise & update relevant data using database applications

Your skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in finance
  • Proficiency in financial software XERO and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Analytical mindset with strong math skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A can-do attitude and self-motivation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
