Our client, a leading organisation in the Public Sector, is seeking a dedicated Interim Project Coordinator to support the Senior Management Team (SMT) in managing project coordination activities related to the implementation of new legislation. This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months with the possibility of extension, offering an annual salary between 41,000 and 44,000.
Role Overview: The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of various projects. This position requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will assist in preparing and managing project plans, reporting progress, and facilitating effective communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage individual project plans while providing a comprehensive overview of all new legislation projects.
- Report project updates to the SMT and Board, including managing spreadsheets, drafting progress reports, and producing visual data presentations.
- Administer project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and maintaining action logs and minutes of meetings with stakeholders.
- Foster effective communication between teams, focusing on co-dependencies and interfaces.
- Identify and manage unforeseen issues that may delay projects or impact other streams.
- Conduct policy research to support projects and assist in policy impact assessments.
- Provide consultation administration, event support, and analyse consultation responses.
- Ensure document formatting, proofreading, and version control are maintained.
