A well established and professional company based in Chelmsford are looking for a Claims Handler to support their growing claims department. You will be based in their bight and open head office and will need be organised, proactive and have great communication skills. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress in their career and have the opportunity to learn from experience senior members of staff as well as colleagues. Duties Thoroughly manage all parts of a third party claim from notification through to conclusion. Providing excellent customer service in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Ensuring that any payments are calculated correctly and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Attending internal team meetings Updating company databases Ensuring that all claims are Investigated and resolved in a professional and timely manner. Ensuring that you manage customer expectations by prioritising work to resolve any disputes Creating accurate records on the company system Ensuring that the quality, service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard Identify way to improve your own skills and abilities Attending in house and client review meetings Assisting with both internal & external auditing The ideal candidate You'll have experience working within claims You'll be capable of investigating and negotiating liability disputes You'll be capable of accurately assessing General Damages You have excellent written and verbal communication skills You have strong attention to detail You have a willingness to learn You have a proactive mindset If you believe this position is right for you, then please apply today!
