We are recruiting for an experienced Housing Finance Officer to join a well-established housing organisation based near London Bridge.
Working within the Finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of rental income, tenant charges, service charges and financial reporting, ensuring accurate records are maintained and income is processed correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Process rent payments, tenant charges and rent adjustments
- Reconcile rental income and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor arrears and produce reports on outstanding balances
- Support tenants with rent account and payment queries
- Assist with monthly reporting, audits and income analysis
- Support the calculation and administration of service charges
- Allocate communal costs and assist with year-end service charge statements
- Work closely with Housing Officers, Finance colleagues and external agencies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience within housing finance, rent accounting, income management or a similar finance environment
- Experience carrying out reconciliations and processing financial transactions
- Exposure to service charge administration
- Experience supporting financial reporting and audits
- Strong Excel, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
