Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and responding to telephone and email enquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments
- Raising and logging maintenance and facilities requests accurately using internal systems, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate team
- Conducting regular inspections of the premises to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Coordinating maintenance and repair work, liaising with contractors to ensure timely completion
- Managing the day-to-day facilities operations, including waste management and health and safety compliance
- Supporting the organisation's events and activities by setting up spaces and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources
- Assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures related to facility management
Ideal Candidate:
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with staff and contractors
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Relevant experience in facilities management or a similar role is preferred but not essential
