Our client, a leading organisation in the finance industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As an Italian-speaking Accountant, you will play an integral role in the management accounts preparation process, ensuring all deadlines are met and accurate information is provided. You will be responsible for various financial tasks, such as posting invoices, reconciling transactions, and preparing VAT returns. This is a fantastic chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a reputable organisation. Salary: up to £50,000 Full Details: – Management accounts preparation: Our client relies on timely and accurate management reports. You will need to work closely with the team to meet deadlines and ensure all necessary information and bookkeeping are received in a timely manner. – VAT return preparation: As part of your role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing VAT returns. By receiving the required information on time, you will have plenty of time to complete this task with accuracy. – No Sage, all on Excel and PC: Our client utilises Excel and PC for their accounting processes, so proficiency in these tools is essential. Responsibilities: Posting of purchase invoices. Posting of sales journals, including Harrods report. Posting and reconciliation of bank transactions. Posting and reconciliation of credit card transactions. Preparation of the petty cash tracking file on Excel and its posting into Sage. Daily or weekly reconciliation of bank sales receipts. Quarterly reconciliation of intercompany (IC) sales and purchases. Quarterly revaluation of aged intercompany (IC) creditors. Accurate renaming, saving, and sharing of documents, invoices, and statements.Other Tasks: Reconciliation of Harrods TILL with Cegid Sales. Handling Harrods Junior self-billing invoices. Cash management and banking responsibilities.Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar role. Fluency in Italian is essential. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and PC accounting systems. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
