Office Angels are currently recruiting for a confident Office Manager to join a busy and welcoming team based in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day office operations and provide essential support across multiple departments.
About the Role:
As the Office Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office environment, managing facilities, and supporting teams across HR, Compliance, and Finance. Your ability to coordinate, communicate, and stay ahead of tasks will be key to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing general office upkeep and coordinating maintenance across multiple locations
- Supporting health, safety, and compliance procedures (including first aid and fire safety)
- Providing admin support such as document formatting, proofreading, and general correspondence
- Assisting with internal process improvements and cross-departmental projects
- Supporting financial tasks, including invoice approval and purchase ledger assistance
- Overseeing office supplies, including stationery and kitchen resources
- Acting as a key point of contact for phone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
- Ensuring the office remains a professional, client-ready environment at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Knowledge of Health & Safety is beneficial (training can be provided)
