What You'll Do:
As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to the Board. This is a hands-on role where you will influence both daily financial management and long-term business decisions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Operations: Managing monthly and annual accounts, invoicing, and reporting across UK and Australian businesses. Overseeing banking, payroll, and petty cash while ensuring compliance with RTI obligations. Developing and enforcing financial policies and procedures.
- Strategic Financial Support: Providing financial analysis to the Board, covering investment appraisals, pricing decisions, and cost management. Offering expert insights on tax, pensions, and other financial matters, collaborating with external advisors where needed.
