Duties
- Receiving and checking deliveries.
- Assist with loading/unloading using the pallet trucks
- Complete documentation, including notification of deliveries to purchasing department.
- Ensure the correct storage of goods.
- Maintaining adequate and appropriate stock levels, inclusive of all consumables and packing materials.
- Issuing of parts to workstations.
- Picking and preparing goods out.
- Ensuring goods are packed securely ready for despatch.
- Operating lifting equipment. I. e., pallet trucks, forklift, etc.
- Maintenance of system data requirements and ensuring integrity at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes and procedures.
- Carry out any other task within scope and spirit of the job
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel)
Skills
- Driving licence essential
- This role involves regular manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, and moving items throughout the working day.
Applicants should be comfortable undertaking these duties safely.
- Willing to learn and undertake fork lift licence
