We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Shepton Mallet. In this important role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the office and workplace facilities. This is a temporary opportunity for a minimum of 12 weeks, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wipe desks, tables, shelves, and windowsills
- Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard floors
- Empty all bins and replace liners
- Disinfect door handles, light switches, and handrails
- Wipe interior glass doors and partitions to remove smudges
- Clean and disinfect toilets and sinks
- Shine mirrors, metal fixtures, and countertops
- Refill toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and sanitiser
- Wipe down kitchen worktops and tables
- Wipe the exterior of microwaves, fridges, and kettles
- Track cleaning product levels and report shortages
- Notify management of maintenance problems like broken lights or leaking taps
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and chemical handling rules (such as COSHH regulations in the UK)
