We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a welcoming and busy school based in Bow, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and professional administrator with previous school-based experience to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the School Leadership Team (SLT)
- Managing front-of-house reception duties and acting as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors, and staff
- Maintaining accurate records using school MIS systems, including Arbor
- Supporting HR administration processes
- Assisting with SEND administration and record management
- Coordinating school trips and after-school clubs
- Producing and editing school communications, including newsletters
- Ensuring all safeguarding procedures and requirements are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a school office environment
- Strong working knowledge of school MIS systems, particularly Arbor
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Experience supporting senior leadership teams
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HR administration
- Knowledge of SEND administration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
