The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Credit Analyst with a strong background in corporate underwriting and financial analysis? We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established financial services organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to support key lending decisions, assess risk, analyse financial information, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure robust and responsible credit management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare credit recommendations.
  • Review and assess corporate lending applications.
  • Monitor customer performance and identify potential risks or adverse trends.
  • Analyse management information and produce insights to support decision making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of credit policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure service levels and compliance standards are met.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in corporate credit analysis and underwriting.
  • Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience interpreting large data sets and identifying trends.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exposure to Power BI and PowerPoint would be advantageous.
