Are you an experienced Finance Manager available immediately and looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a growing Burgess Hill-based business seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This is a fully onsite role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, supporting business operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing monthly management accounts and reporting
- Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations
- Handling cashflow forecasting and budget monitoring
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting year-end processes
- Supervising finance administration and maintaining financial controls
- Producing financial analysis to support business decision-making
About You
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant
- Confident managing month-end processes from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
