The Role
We are looking for an experienced Food & Drink Retail Multi-Unit Service Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and service delivery across a number of busy food and drink retail units.
This is a hands-on, field-based role with responsibility for people, service, commercial performance and operational standards across multiple units. You will work closely with Store / Unit Managers and operational teams to ensure consistency, drive performance and deliver an excellent customer experience.
The operation is fast-paced and commercially focused, with a strong emphasis on customer service, team performance, operational standards and sales growth. We are looking for someone who enjoys being visible in the operation, developing people and taking ownership across multiple units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operation across multiple food & drink retail units.
- Ensure consistently high standards of customer service, product quality and presentation.
- Drive consistency in operational standards & processes.
- Monitor sales, labour, costs, margins and key operational KPIs.
- Work with Unit Managers to improve commercial performance and achieve targets.
- Conduct regular site audits, operational and performance reviews.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, health & safety, compliance and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, service, efficiency and customer experience.
- Support new unit openings, promotions and commercial initiatives.
- Build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
About You:
Ideal previous experience: Multi-Unit Manager, Retail Operations Manager, Food & Beverage Manager or similar, ideally within a high-volume food, drink, hospitality, leisure, retail or customer-facing multi-site environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales, labour, costs, margins and KPIs.
- Experience managing multiple locations and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of customer service and operational standards.
- A hands-on, visible and solutions-focused approach.
- Confident using performance data to drive improvements.
- A genuine passion for food, drink, retail and delivering an excellent customer experience.
