Our client, a major events and hospitality operation in West London, is seeking an experienced Staffing Manager to oversee workforce planning, recruitment, scheduling and the day-to-day management of a large casual workforce.
This is a key role within a busy venue environment, supporting events, conferences and major hospitality operations, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead workforce planning, forecasting and staffing across events and hospitality operations.
- Manage scheduling and deployment in line with operational requirements and budgets.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention of a large casual workforce.
- Manage payroll information and submissions, ensuring accuracy and resolving queries.
- Monitor attendance, performance and staffing levels, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Produce staffing reports and labour analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams, finance, payroll and external staffing partners.
- Ensure staffing activity meets employment legislation, compliance and company procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in staffing, workforce planning, scheduling or people operations.
- Experience managing a large casual, temporary or flexible workforce.
- Hospitality, events, venues or other high-volume operational experience would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of labour costs and workforce efficiency.
- Comfortable working with staffing, scheduling and payroll systems.
