If you are passionate about both sweet and savoury pastries, enjoy variety in your work, and want to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking catering company, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As Pastry Chef, you will take the lead on all things pastry — from daily production to bespoke event desserts. You will work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and wider hospitality team to deliver consistently high standards and creative offerings across the site.

What you will be doing:

  • Producing a wide range of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods
  • Decorating and finishing desserts using a variety of icings, toppings, and techniques
  • Designing and delivering bespoke desserts for fine dining and special events
  • Developing new and exciting desserts for restaurants, coffee bars, and events
  • Managing the pastry section day-to-day and supporting a positive team environment
  • Working closely with the Head and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards always.

What we are looking for

You will be a confident, organised Pastry Chef who enjoys running a section and thrives in a fast-paced but professional environment. You will bring:

  • A genuine passion for food and pastry
  • Strong knowledge of baking, bread, and pastry techniques
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and pride in presentation
  • Confidence working with dietary requirements (gluten-free, reduced sugar, etc.)
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • A good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness
  • Relevant culinary or pastry qualifications
  • Experience in contract catering or a 5-star hotel environment (preferred)
  • Flexibility around working hours when required for events

What’s in it for you?

We believe great people deserve great benefits:

  • £34,000 – £36,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
