We are looking for an experienced and motivated Hospitality Floor Manager to support the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services at a prestigious venue with 17 meeting rooms, including a main space seating up to 300 guests. This is a hands-on role for a very busy operation, ideal for someone passionate about events, food service excellence, and team leadership within a contract catering environment.

As Hospitality Floor Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to lead the catering operation for a wide range of events, conferences, meetings, and formal dinners. You will help ensure seamless service delivery, outstanding customer experience, and efficient team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day management of the hospitality and events catering operation
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the hospitality team during events and service periods
  • Oversee catering for conferences, meetings, corporate events, and seated dinners
  • Ensure service standards are consistently delivered to a high level
  • Assist with event planning, room set-ups, staffing, and logistics
  • Maintain strong client and venue relationships, acting as a professional point of contact
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
  • Support stock control, ordering, and cost management
About You:
  • Previous experience in hospitality or events management, ideally within contract catering
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience delivering conferences, large-scale events, and formal dining
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible to work evenings as required by the events calendar
