A great opportunity to join a leading Contract Caterer in the heart of the City, The starting salary is £55,000 for 40 hours with some evening events will be required which are paid at overtime rates. This could could be a canape event, plated sit down fine dining dinner or over the summer BBQ's and outside events on the Terrace area
This will be working in the Fine Dining and Hospitality kitchen and previous contract catering experience is preferred, there is a separate retail kitchen and this role is based purely in hospitality and Fine Dining. We can also look at Chefs who have experience of Michelin* or Rosette level cooking who want to move into a role which gives a much better work / life balance.
You will have access to great suppliers and work closely with the Executive Head Chef on site. You will lead a team of 9-10 Chefs including 2 Sous Chefs and CDPs and Commis Chefs, it is a very calm and happy working environment so a lovely kitchen to work in.
Core responsibilities for the role will be cooking for around 30 private hospitality rooms, breakfast and à la carte dining, seasonal hot and cold buffets, conference and events catering for up to 250 guests, and a rooftop terrace. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, develop innovative menus and deliver restaurant-quality food at scale.
