We are working with a leading high-end events company in London, now looking for an experienced Executive Head Chef to lead and shape their culinary offering. This is an opportunity to join at a key stage of growth, build your own team, and make a real impact.

As Executive Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the culinary direction of the business. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior team, you will lead the kitchen operation and drive standards across all events. You will oversee everything from intimate fine dining experiences to large-scale events and canapé receptions, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence at every level. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining menu development, team building, and operational delivery.

Our client will only consider chefs from an events catering or venue environment such as:

  • High-end venues with a significant events operation
  • Professional events catering companies
  • Restaurants with a well-established proven external events business

In addition, you will have:

  • Proven experience at Head Chef or Executive Chef level
  • A strong background in events and fine dining
  • Experience delivering both small luxury events and large-scale functions
  • A hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of current food trends and menu development & innovation
  • The ability to lead, build, and develop the kitchen teams
  • A good understanding of cost control and GP management
