A great opportunity for a Chef de Partie to work in this evening role. The core hours are Monday to Friday 11.30am to 8pm; there may be an odd weekend as required but this is mainly Monday to Friday.
You will assist with lunch service and then work with another chef for the evening service. You will prepare the meals in the afternoon ready for evening service, catering for between 130-150 meals on a daily basis.
In the evenings, the Chef de Partie will work closely with an assistant to prepare a Hot Meat option, Hot Veg option, and a couple of salads. You will need good organisational skills to ensure all food is ready for service on time.
We are looking for a chef ideally with Contract Catering experience, but other experience can be considered. You will be in charge of the service, assisting on menus and using whatever produce you require. You will prepare all the dishes and ensure everything is closed down correctly with the assistant who will support you.
You will report into an Exec Chef but will be working independently, so you need to be comfortable with this setup. We are looking for a Chef de Partie that can demonstrate good stability in previous roles with some length of time in each role.
If you are an enthusiastic Chef de Partie with relevant experience, please send your CV if this sounds like you and you want to know more! This role is available immediately, so don't delay in sending over your application.
