Hospitality & Catering Supervisor Education Sector West London Salary: £34,500 Excellent Benefits Monday to Friday & Occasional weekend An opportunity has arisen for a Hospitality & Catering Supervisor to join the catering team at a prestigious independent school in West London. Working closely with the Catering Manager, the Hospitality & Catering Supervisor will focus on the organisation and delivery of hospitality services and events; and will also support the wider catering operation, including the café and student and staff dining facilities. Key Responsibilities Organise and deliver the day to day hospitality operations. Supervise front-of-house service and lead the team in maintaining high standards of service and presentation. Coordinate event planning, logistics and service requirements with the Catering Manager and kitchen team. Support the day-to-day running of the café and student and staff dining operations as required. Ensure compliance with relevant policies & procedures regulatory requirements across the catering operations. About You Previous supervisory experience in hospitality & catering, ideally within a school or similar environment. Experience organising hospitality events, with strong planning and logistical skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of front-of-house service. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels. A proactive, adaptable and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities. A Food Hygiene / Food Safety qualification, with a good understanding of compliances & regulations. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to think on your feet.
