A great opportunity to join a leading Contract Caterer in the heart of Manchester City. The starting salary is £35,000 for a 40 hour week. This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours being 7am to 3.30pm with no weekends and a very occasional evening event paid as overtime.
You will lead a team of 2/3 kitchen staff. The Head Chef will need experience gained within Contract Catering ideally or we will consider chefs from a hotel or Event Background looking for a better work / life balance.
The day to day offer is a staff restaurant with a cooked breakfast every day, 2 hot mains for lunch as well as a small amount of grab and go and composite salad options. There is a small amount of hospitality including buffets, bowl food and some fine dining. You will produce around 40-50 covers for lunch each day all prepared from fresh.
