Our client are recruiting an experienced catering team leader to work in their Young persons leisure retreat. You will ensure that the visitors have a great experience in the dining area. You will make sure that the visitors dietary needs are adhered too. You will play an important part in making sure the young people have a positive and enjoyable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Oversee day-to-day catering activities, including food preparation, setup, and cleanup.
- Ensure all catering events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and service teams for timely delivery of services.
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Monitor staff performance to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct regular checks to maintain high food quality and presentation standard
- Manage catering budgets and ensure cost control while maintaining service quality
- Maintain detailed records of catering events, schedules, and client interactions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be fully food allergen trained and well versed in all areas of kitchen and food hygiene
- Kitchen management experience is preferred. Candidates should be natural leaders who welcome responsibility, drive standards and optimise efficiency
- Candidates must have high volume catering. You must understand how to prep and deliver dishes to scale, ensuring the food is freshly prepared, nutritious & delicious
- Advanced DBS is essential
